Groz Stillson Wrenches are drop Forged and Heat Treated Handle & Jaws with high grade cast malleable iron frames. Accurately machined screw threads and nut with spring jaws. Designed so that when pressure is applied all the stress is transmitted through the steel hook jaw and adjusting nut to the handle jaw without the frame having to bear signaificant load. Hardened tempered jaw teeth with V grooves are in opposite directions enabling a ratcheting action.
