Copper Phosphorus Rod Ag2CuP 2.0mm x 500mm x 1.0Kg. Copper Phosphorus w/ 2% Silver is widely
used in Copper and Copper Alloy brazing. It is self-fluxing on copper, however
brass & bronze joints require a flux. The addition of silver offers
increased ductility, reduced melting point, and enhanced electrical
conductivity. The phosphorus increases the free-flowing element of the filler
metal. It is not recommended for use with steel or alloys with a high nickel
content.
Recommended for assembly of copper pipes, and tubing through capillary action. Extensively used for electrical connections, heating, sanitary, and refrigeration installations.
Chemical Composition:
Ag 2%
Cu 91.5%
P 6.5%
Specification:
Melting Range °C 645 - 825
Density 8.1g/cm³
Tensile Strength 55kg/mm²
Standard EN1044-CP105
