Argon gas is generally used when TIG welding stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminium. It can also be used in the MIG welding of aluminium and alloys. TIG welding applications include the repair of alloy wheels, farming equipment, vehicle body panels, model work and metals used for aircraft. The Hobbyweld argon cylinder is filled with high purity, high quality gas, with a minimum purity of 99.995%, giving you the best possible results. Using Hobbyweld is inexpensive as the bottles are rent free. Customers pay a one-time deposit on the bottle (refundable) and subsequently merely pay for refills. Due to the nature of the product it is only available to pick up from our premises, we do not deliver.
