The most popular shielding gas for mig welding of mild steel sheet and thin section. It is the go-to gas for the welding of classic cars and motorcycles. The Hobbyweld gas mix is formulated to reduce porosity, spatter and oxidation. It’s easy to use and inexpensive as the bottles are rent free. Customers pay a one-time deposit on the bottle (refundable) and subsequently merely pay for refills. Due to the nature of the product it is only available to pick up from our premises, we do not deliver.
